Postcard

Detroit Skyline at Night, Detroit, Mich.

Color postcard depicting the downtown skyline at night from across the Detroit River. In view are the Greater Penobscot Building, Buhl Building, Guardian Building, First National Building, and Cadillac Tower.
Printed on verso: Detroit Skyline at Night. Detroit's skyline at night, as seen from the Canadian side of the Detroit river is a blaze of light and colour. It is a scene rivaling the greatest wonders of nature, and indeed is miraculous, being the creation of man. Detroit's modern skyscrapers tower into the sky their myriad windows, a kaleidoscope of twinkling lights, dominated by the powerful beacon atop the Penobscot Building. Reflected in the placid smooth-flowing waters of the Detroit River is it a modern spectacle to be found only in America and possesses all the characteristics which go to make of our country an object of awe and curiosity to travellers from all over the world.
