Black printed text on the verso reads "Detroit Yacht Club, Belle Isle - This handsome home of the club was built in 1905 to replace their former home, destroyed by fire. It cost $20,000. The club is one of the largest on the Great Lakes, features sailing and maintains a fleet of 20 one design catboats in which the members sail weekly regatta."
