Handwritten text on the verso shows the addressee as "Miss Irene Dudley, 8900 E. Jefferson, Detroit 14, Mich. / Apt 620." It says "Dear Irene- Hope you'll / vote for / My friend, Fred W. Fox, / is the kind of experi- / enced attourney and / counselor we need as / a Circuit Court Com- / missioner. I feel / privileged to recommend / that you and your / friends vote for him / on November 8th. He / will be on the / NON-PARTISAN TICKET / No. 311 / Gen. Weyher."
