Postcard

Harbor, Detroit, Mich

One postcard of the "Harbor, Detroit, Mich." The postcard shows a color drawing that depicts a view of passenger steamships on the Detroit River and docks near the foot of Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit. Small red printed text in the upper left corner area reads "Harbor, Detroit, Mich." Small printed text on the verso reads "The Harbor. Virtually all the commerce of the Great Lakes, except that between Superior and Michigan, passes through the Detroit River. Immense freighters bearing their loads of ore, grain, coal, lumber, and general merchandise are constantly in sight and this, added to the passenger steamers and ferry boats, makes the river front one of the most interesting points of the city. More tonnage passes this port during the year than that of any other port in the world."
