Postcard

Harbor Scene, Detroit, Mich.

Color postcard depicting several ships at the riverfront, with a crowd of people on a dock in the foreground.
Printed on verso: The Harbor. Virtually all the commerce of the Great Lakes, except that between Superiors and Michigan, passes through the Detroit River. Immense freighters bearing their loads of ore, grain, coal, lumber and general merchandise are constantly in sight and this, added to the passenger steamers and ferry boats, makes the river front one of the most interesting points of the city. More tonnage passes this port during the year than that of any other port in the world.
