Printed text on the verso shows "Belle Isle, Detroit's beautiful 985 acre park, provides a cool retreat during the summer months. It has twenty miles of fine roadways, canals for boating, horticultural gardens, a zoo, a yacht and boat clubs, and aquarium and picnic grounds." The card was "Pub. by Chaffee & Co., Detroit, Mich."
