Printed on verso: The James Scott Memorial Fountain stands as a tribute to James Scott who died in 1910, leaving the bulk of his fortune to the city. The cost of building the fountain was $500,000. A magnificent statue of the donor faces it. The fountain is nearly 38 ft. high, 510 ft. in diameter and has a water spout of 125 feet. Colored lights illuminate the fountain by night, making it visible from the Canadian shore and the American mainland.
