Printed on the verso: The Masonic Temple is the largest building in the world devoted to Masonry. Its main auditorium has a seating capacity of 5000. For many years it has been the home of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Handwritten message on verso reads "Dear Folks, just a card while here visiting at Dick's place. Billy had to be in Cleveland yesterday for Army Exam so we came on through to River Rouge after the exam. He was put in 4-F for the third time (sinus). We are all well at Ford Cliff. Dick has been in the hospital since Tuesday of last week but cannot be operated on until Wed of next week, so the doctor left him come home today until next Tues night. His is prostate gland trouble. Billy and a boy friend and myself made the trip. If all goes well we expect to exchange visits next summer. […]"
