One color postcard of the Hazen S. Pingree Monument in downtown Detroit. The view shows a color photographic image of a bronze sculpture of the former Detroit mayor who is seated in a chair. The sculpture rests on a large white rectangular marble base with a bronze plaque and surrounding steps. Four horizontal lines of glitter can be seen along the edges of the base and steps (possibly representing decorative garlands for the Christmas season). A lawn area can be seen in the foreground with leafless trees visible in Grand Circus Park in the background. Small black printed text on the upper edge of the postcard reads "No. 1013. W. G. MacFarlane, Buffalo." Black printed text beneath the image reads "Pingree Monument, Detroit, Mich."
