It is inscribed "Dear Shirley, Here is one of the half dozen little towns we have been filming for the Cadillac Homeland motion picture. Here is where he was born- his home and the church where he was baptized, the town hall or chateau with five towers, 2nd most of the houses and stores were there when he lived. It has been good weather for photography, but hot. Thanks for the card, and the beautiful picture of you on the porch. Daddy".
