Postcard of Chateau Pontchartrain
Photo postcard with an black and white image of the side of Chateau Pontchartrain. The river is in the foreground with the house on the other side of it. Image shows the long-side of the house with a side garden. Ivy covers much of the first-story. A small archway in the in the middle of the wall. A statue sits at the center of the garden. A pathway coming from the back of the house leads to the riverside. A large window/door is on the wall closest to the river. Above it sit two chimneys on the roof. Most of the Chateau is three-stories, but the section closest to the river and visible on the back side (left side of image) of the house is one-story. The rest of the Chateau is three-stories. The postcard has scalloped edges.
