One postcard entitled Schiller Monument on Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich." The postcard shows a color photographic image of a statue of the German poet and philosopher, Friedrich Schiller. The monument shows a seated bronze figure on top of a wide stone base. Carved text on the base notes that that the monument was "Erected by Citizens of German Descent, Detroit-Mich., 1907." Small printed text on the verso gives details about the monument.
