Printed on verso: Skating Exhibition, Belle Isle Park. One of the greatest pleasures afforded Detroiters during the winter months is the skating privileges at the "Island." The ice on Pavilion Lake is kept in perfect condition by the Park & Boulevard Commission, and is thronged daily by thousands, old and young, who are fond of the exhilarating pleasure.
