One postcard entitled "S.S. CITY OF MIDLAND '41'". The postcard shows a color photographic image of the ferry S.S. A caption on the verso reads:
CITY OF MIDLAND 41, taken from the shore off its port bow. "C&O Railway, owner. Year-around passenger & railway carferry service across Lake Michigan. Built by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co. in 1941. Overall Dimensions - 407' x 58'6" x 23'6". Engines: Steam, Twin-screw, 6,000 Horsepower. Home Port - Ludington, Michigan.
