One sepia-toned photographic postcard entitled "The Water Front - Detroit Girl Scouts, Metamora, Mich." The postcard shows an elevated view of a lake and dock. Many many girls scouts in bathing suits are standing in the water at the shoreline or are standing near the end of the dock. Other girl scouts are seated in rowboats just beyond the dock and swimming areas. Camping tents can be seen on the shoreline in the distance. A short note is handwritten in pencil on the verso. The postcard is postmarked "Metamora, Mich., Jul. 28, 1938."
