Printed on the verso, "Woodward Avenue Baptist Church situated at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Winder Street, is one of the finest examples of church architecture in Detroit. It is built of stone and the auditorium, planned closely after an old cathedral is an imposing and spacious one. Though originally in a residence district, the church is now well inside the business portion of the city."
