Screen printed promotional poster, designed by Mark Arminski, for the 13th Annual Detroit Music Awards, held on December 2, 1995 at the State Theatre. The event was hosted by comedienne Judy Tenuta, and featured performances by Thornetta Davis with members of Big Chief, Harvey Thompson, Stewart Francke, Lucky Haskins, and George Bedard and the Kingpins, as well as an after party featuring Charm Farm, Carl Craig, and Kenny Larkin. The event was sponsored by the MetroTimes, the Motor City Brewing Works, 89X, and 93.9 The River, and was a benefit for the Center of Creative Studies Rob Tyner Scholarship Fund. The poster features a purple and blue image of Rob Tyner as the background with a pair of guitars along the left and right edges. Arminski's signature is at the bottom left.
