World War II posters with the message, "Don't Let that Shadow Touch Them - Buy War Bonds." The poster shows a color drawing of three children who are playing on a grassy area while the shadow of a swastika is cast over them. The artist's name and date, "Lawrence Beall Smith, -42," can be seen in the lower left corner of the drawing. Small printed text in the lower right corner shows "U.S. Government Printing Office: 1942-O-462211, WSS 451."
