Cardinal Mercier

World War I poster with an appeal from Cardinal Mercier of Belgium. The Cardinal is asking the United States Food Administration to send more food to the starving people of war-stricken France, Belgium, and Italy. The poster shows a color head and shoulders drawing of the Cardinal with text beneath that is printed in black and red on a white background.
