CORN The Food of The Nation
World War I poster entitled: "CORN The Food of The Nation" and "Serve Some Way Every Meal - Appetizing, Nourishing, Economical." The poster shows a color drawing of a housewife who is mixing batter in a bowl that is resting on a tabletop beside glass jars of "Corn Meal," "Grits," and "Hominy." Plates of corn muffins and pancakes and a pitcher of syrup are also shown on the table in the foreground. The artist's name, "Lloyd Harrison," is shown near the lower left corner of the drawing.
