Dally in the Alley

One advertisement poster for the fifth annual "Dally in the Alley" art/street fair which took place in an alley that was located at the center of a city block bounded by 2nd, 3rd, Forest, and Hancock Streets. The poster is printed in red and dark blue ink on heavyweight pale yellow paper. It shows a drawing of a large crowd of people who are gathered in an alley near a 2-story brick building. The tops of two 3-story apartment buildings can be seen in the background. Small blue printed text at the lower left edge of the sketch reads "The Dodge Garage, Detroit." Small blue/red printed text at the lower right edge reads "©1986 Gary Grimshaw." Printed text at the bottom of the poster gives additional information about the fair, the names of scheduled entertainers, a location map, and the names of contributors. The event was sponsored by the "North Cass Community Union, Inc."
