World War I poster with the message: "Lend the way they Fight Buy Bonds to your UTMOST", the multicolor poster shows a drawing of an American soldier in battle who is standing at the top of a trench and is preparing to throw a grenade with his right hand into the trench. The helmets of three German soldiers are just visible above the edge of the trench. The artist's name, "E.M. Ashe," is shown near the lower right corner of the drawing. Small printed text at the lower edge of the poster shows "F-207" and "W.F. Powers Co. Litho., N.Y."
