Liberties with Liberty

One advertisement poster for a Detroit Historical Museum exhibit entitled, "Liberties with Liberty," that was shown from February 10 to April 26, 1987. The poster shows a color picture of a worn, copper-colored weathervane that depicts the Statue of Liberty with an outstretched left arm. Printed text indicates that the "exhibition is organized by the Museum of American Folk Art, New York City, in honor of the Statue of Liberty Centennial, and is sponsored by the Xerox Foundation."
