Give War Bonds
World War II poster with the message, "For Liberty and Peace on Earth, Give War Bonds." The multicolor poster shows a drawing of the Liberty Bell along with Christmas bells and holly. An image of a $100 War Savings Bond can be seen beneath the bells. The artist's name, "Lyman Simpson," is shown in the lower left corner of the poster. Small printed text along the lower edge shows "Official U.S. Treasury Poster" as well as "U.S. Government Printing Office: 1944-O-611278" and "WFD 965-A."
