World War II poster with the message, "Millions of troops are on the move ... Is Your trip necessary?" The multicolor poster shows a drawing of hundreds of U.S. servicemen who are disembarking from passenger cars at a train station platform. The artist's name, "Montgomery Melbourne," is shown near the lower left corner of the drawing. The poster was issued by the Office of Defense Transportation. Small printed text along the lower edge of the poster shows "U.S. Government Printing Office: 1943-O-529808."
