This is Nazi brutality

World War II poster entitled, "This is Nazi brutality." The dark-colored poster shows a drawing of a man who is handcuffed and has a bag over his head. A red brick wall and a dark sky can be seen in the background. The artist's name, "Ben Shahn," is shown at the lower right corner of the drawing. Printed text in the lower portion of the poster is shown in the form a newswire bulletin that reads, "Radio Berlin -- It is Officially Announced: All Men of Lidice, Czechoslovakia - Have Been Shot: The Women Deported to a concentration Camp: The Children Sent to Appropriate Centers - The Name of the Village Was Immediately Abolished, 6/11/1942/115P." Small printed text along the lower edge of the poster shows "Poster No. 11, Issued by the United States Office of War Information. Additional Copies May Be Obtained From the Division of Public Inquiries, Office of War Administration, Washington, D.C." and "U. S. Government Printing Office: 1942-O-491104."
