URGENT NOTICE
World War II poster entitled, "URGENT NOTICE." The poster is printed in black text on a red/orange background and lists four advisory notices to U.S. citizens which recommend that they not discuss troop and equipment movements concerning the final phases of war against Japan. The notice is signed by Clayton Bissell, Major General, GSC, Assistant Chief of Staff, G-2; Hewlett Thebaud, Rear Admiral, U.S. Navy, Director of Naval Intelligence; and J. Edgar Hoover, Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation. Small printed text in the lower right corner of the poster shows "U. S. Government Printing Office: 1945-O-647120."
