Uz Slovenskovstava, Puta Si Strhava

World War I recruitment poster with the message: "Uz Slovenskovstava, Puta Si Strhava." The poster shows a color drawing of a soldier who is standing at the top of a small hill and is preparing to plunge his bayonet into a target. Another soldier appears to be running (fleeing?) at the base of the hill in the lower right corner of the poster. A white Cross of Lorraine (emblem of Slovakia) can be seen in the background. Stamped blue text in the lower white margin shows "Issued By the Czechoslovak Recruiting Office, Tribune Building, New York. Designed and Printed at the School of Printing and Graphic Arts of Wentworth Institute, Boston, Mass., U.S.A. Wentworth Poster No. 10."
