Western Union
1 - World War II poster that was designed to look like a Western Union telegram. The message was dated May 31, 1945, and asked the American people to "invest in war bonds to the fullest extent of your capacity." The telegram was signed by the seven top generals and admirals of the American forces including George C. Marshall, William D. Leahy, Douglas MacArthur, E. J. King, Dwight D. Eisenhower, C. W. Nimitz, and H. H. Arnold.
