Print, Photographic
Black and white photographic print of an architectural rendering of a proposed design for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan campus in downtown Detroit, as depicted as through peering north from a point about the southern corner of East Congress Street and Beaubien Street. The campus consists of roughly seven buildings with no obvious analog to the present Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Building. Holy Family Parish is on the eastern end of the lot, beside Interstate 375. St. Mary Roman Catholic Church has also been drawn to the north of the campus. The Lafayette Clinic and the Lafayette Park apartments towers have also been drawn on the east side of I-375. "C-132-1," is handwritten and "Dept. Report & Info. Comm." is handwritten on the verso.
