20th Annual Firemen's Field Day Official Program

Staple-bound program for the 1942 Detroit Firemen's Fund Association Field Day held at Briggs Stadium from August 29th to the 30st. A half-tone photograph of a woman holding two children with the caption, "I gave a man! Will you give at least 10% of your pay in War Bonds," is on the cover. "Owen Middleton," is handwritten in the upper right corner. Articles on the Fire Prevention Bureau, and Civil Defense (including a comic strip about the magnesium bomb), as well as score cards for the event's baseball games, and numerous advertisements are contained within.
