Jazz at the Paradise
One program for the January 29, 1978 "Jazz at the Paradise" concert held at Orchestra Hall as part of the 1978 Composers Concepts series. The concert featured Dizzy Gillespie and the Paradise Theatre Orchestra as well as Sam Sanders & Visions with the Oakland University Jazz Ensemble. The 8-page, booklet-style program is printed in black text on white paper. Duke Ellington is pictured on the cover. It contains a brief history of jazz in Detroit, program details, and many advertisements.
