Half-folded souvenir program from the Tenth Annual Old Timers' Day and Dedication of the Jerome H. Remick Music Shell, held at Belle Isle on July 13, 1950. The day consisted of a baseball game between the Detroit Old Time Base Ball Players' Association and the Belle Isle Tigers, old time dancing, a concert on the Nancy Brown Carillon, and a concert by the Belle Isle Concert Band conducted by Leonard B. Smith at the new band shell. The program lists the sponsors as the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Detroit Historical Society, the Detroit Federation of Musicians, the Detroit Old Time Base Ball Players Association, and the Detroit News. George W. Stark was the master of ceremonies, and Mayor Albert Cobo was among the speakers.
