One tax receipt, dated July 12, 1867, issued by the Receiver's Office in Detroit. It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that Richmond & Backus Company paid $264.63 for various city taxes on "Personal Property, Jeff. Ave. North." The receipt, No. 37, was signed by "T.R. Cumings, Receiver of Taxes."
