Annual Report of the Detroit and Wayne County Thrift Gardens for the Year 1935

Annual report compiled through the cooperation of the State Emergency Relief Administration, Wayne County Welfare Relief Commission, Public Welfare Commission of Detroit, and Detroit Thrift Garden Committee, consisting of 13 stapled pages plus a large fold-out containing instructions and a planting schedule. Also contained within the packet are a list of committee members, a page of photos of some of the gardens, information about supplies and expectations for gardeners, information about the 21 fields including a map, budget, and the successes and shortcomings of the project.
