Eighty-Seventh Annual Report, Detroit Fire Department

Staple-bound report containing a summary of the activities of the Detroit Fire Department in 1954. Tables detailing runs made by the different companies, the status of the department's apparatuses, the source of fire alarms, building inspections, the causes, locations, and costs in damages of fires, and cases attended to by the medical division are included. Several photos of the new Detroit Fire Department Apparatus Repair Shops and General Warehouse for Communications and Supplies Division at Erskine Street, and Russell Street are also included. The report is bound in a light blue cover with the seal of the Fire Commission of the City of Detroit printed on the cover.
