Report of the Street Railway Commission to the
Honorable Common Council on the Miller-Schorn System

One report entitled "Report of the Street Railway Commission to the Honorable Common Council on the Miller-Schorn System." The softcover report has a tan cover. It contains 9 typewritten pages (carbon copies) and is dated January 9, 1929. The report discusses the use of express streetcars on Jefferson Avenue and possibly Grand River Avenue with selected stops to allow rider transfers to buses. However, the report and accompanying blueprint cross-section detail promotes the construction of an express streetcar line on the surface with dual underground express subway lines. Underground "subwalks" would be provided for pedestrians to enter/exit the subway from the sides of the street. Three folded blueprint drawings are included with the report.
