Resolution

Resolution in Memoriam from the City of Detroit Common Council honoring David H. Heineman, from April 20, 1971. The passages of the resolution cite Heineman's service in government as a member of the state legislature, president of the Common Council, City Controller, and Assistant City Attorney, as well as his scholarship on history of the city's Jewish population, and his design of the official flag of the City of Detroit. The resolution also mentions the installation of the stained glass window portraying the flag in the Detroit Historical Museum.
