Marvin Gaye

One First Day issue of the "Marvin Gaye" postage stamp which was unveiled at a ceremony at the Detroit Historical Museum on April 5, 2019. The stamp features a head and shoulders color image of Marvin Gaye. The First Day issue package consists of a sheet of 16 stamps and a stamped envelope with text that reads "First Day of Issue, Marvin Gaye, Music Icons, April 2, 2019, Los Angeles, CA 90052." The two items are contained in a flat, shrink-wrap display package which has a cardboard backing that shows the "United States Postal Service" name and logo at the top.
