Blank Citizen's Committee for John C. Lodge stationery, printed as part of his 1927 campaign for mayor. A half-tone image of Lodge is in the letterhead along with the text:

"If the people of Detroit believe that I have served them well as Alderman, Councilman, President of the Council and Acting Mayor, it will be my pleasure to serve them further." - John C. Lodge's answer to the 50,000 citizens who drafted him as candidate for Mayor.

A message along the bottom the reads, "Election Tuesday, November 8th. The personnel of the Citizen's Committee for John C. Lodge is listed on the reverse side." Several check marks have been made beside names of committee members on the verso.
