Western Union envelope and telegram sent by E. Peterson, the secretary of Kiwanis International in Chicago, Illinois to Mr. Charles R. Cowdin of Detroit, Michigan. The telegram is stamped February 12, 1953. In the message Peterson wishes Cowdin a happy 90th birthday. The envelope's recto has a transparent window, and its verso bears an advertisement for the Emerson Radio and Phonograph Corporation.
