Testimonial, on paper printed in black text: "For the Liberty Loans" for Edward Edgar Hartwick from the Liberty Loan Committee of Detroit and Wayne County. The testimonial is printed with an engraving of the Statue of Liberty on its right side with American soldiers marching at the base and airplanes above. The text of the testimonial is as follows:
"The Liberty Loan Committee of Detroit and Wayne County presents this testimonial in appreciation of the patriotic services of Ed. E. Hartwick who enlisted for the duration of the war to assist in the sale of Liberty Loan Bonds. The Committee especially wishes to recognize his valuable aid in establishing Detroit's proud record in the first Liberty Loan campaign, which resulted in a ten million dollar over-subscription of its quota of thirty-three million dollars.
