Air Fest 84 - TV Card & Audio & Do It In Detroit logo
U-Matic tape containing several takes of a voice-over using several scripts for a public service announcement promoting Airfest '84. The voice-over is initially performed over a static image of a red-on-beige title card with graphics of an airplane, and the Do It In Detroit logo, as well as the text, "Airfest '84, Detroit City Airport, July 7, 8, 1984." This is followed by a color illustration of a podium on a stage with blue carpet, blue curtains, and a tan wall visible where the curtains are pulled back in the center. After a period of silence, the voice-over for the Airfest '84 commercial resumes over this new still. After several takes, the audio abruptly cuts out, but the original title card reappears. Several more lengthy shots of the card follow, presumably with different camera settings as the focus and color varies. Near the end of the tape, a card with only a larger version of the Do It In Detroit logo against a beige and red background appears.
The video is on an UCA-20 U-Matic S tape with a handwritten 3M label on the top. The tape is housed in a black U-Matic case, with a handwritten 3M label on in the label window.
