U-Matic S tape containing silent footage shot at Eastern Market's Flower Day on June 14, 1983, presumably for future public service announcements. People shop around an offering of flowers laid out in the parking lot beside and underneath Shed 6. Remnants of a previous recording of a television news report relating to the city's contract with Magnum Oil are faintly audible following the Flower Day footage.

The video is on a 20-minute U-Matic S tape with a handwritten City of Detroit Department of Public Information Video Production label on its top. The tape is housed within a black plastic latching case with a matching label on its cover.
