Grand Prix Party '85, Vet's Mem. Bldg.

U-Matic tape containing silent footage shot during the 1985 Grand Prix race in downtown Detroit, of an event on the Veterans Memorial Building's rooftop. The footage includes multiple shots of the attendees, the Goodyear Blimp flying overhead, Mayor Coleman A. Young interacting with the crowd, a view of stands around the course below, and a WJBK camera situated on the roof's edge.

The video is on a 3M MBU-18 U-Matic S tape with a small handwritten label on its top. The tape is housed within a black plastic latching clamshell case with handwritten label on its cover.
