U-Matic tape containing the unedited version of Mayor Coleman Young's video birthday card. Created for his 70th birthday, the video contains messages and jokes from Young's friends and family, and is dated May 24, 1988
The video begins with a shot that states "Join the Celebration. Happy Birthday Mr. Mayor From All Your Friends", with music from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The video then shows the DSO playing "Happy Birthday" for the mayor. Birthday messages follow from:
