U-Matic tape containing an informational video about the 1991 My Heart Is With Detroit contest, featuring images of winning posters, and excerpts from winning essays.

The video begins with an excerpt from the 1991 "Get Mad About Arson" public service announcement (video tape 2015.010.097), as well as shots of Devil's Nights volunteers a neighborhood and posed in front of the Spirit of Detroit statue. Michael Muirhead and Angie Spencer then appear on camera to talk about the campaign. They mention new television and radio public service announcements, the involvement of Detroit Pistons player John Salley, and the The My Heart is With Detroit contest and ceremony. Spencer states that there was 3800 entrees.

The pair then spotlight the first, second, and third place winners in the poster and essay contests. The posters are divided into divisions for special education, elementary school, middle school, and high school students. Each of the finalists posters are shown as stills with superimposed text providing the artists' names and schools. The essays are divided into elementary, middle, and high school categories. Muirhead and Spencer read an excerpt from each, as the text is displayed on screen.

The recording is on a 3M UCA-20 U-Matic tape with a handwritten 3M label on its top. The tape is housed within a black plastic latching U-Matic case with a matching label on its cover.
