Recreation Dept. Halloween Parties

U-Matic tape containing a pair of public service announcements promoting the Department of Recreation's Halloween Parties. The first spot is fifteen seconds in length and features a voice over with footage of a witch, a shot of children in costume, and a title card which features illustration of children in costume, a castle beside the Renaissance Center, and the phone number for recreation department. The second spot is thirty seconds in length and extends upon the first with additional shots of the witch, and a longer narration in an accent approximating that of Bela Legois's Dracula. The narration in both spots emphasizes a "safe Halloween" in response to the Devil's Night issue.

The video is on a 3M UCA-10 U-Matic tape with a handwritten title written in pencil directly on the tape. The tape is housed in a black plastic latching case with a 3M label on its cover.
