The footage features Chene Park under construction, the interior of the Rattlesnake Club, exteriors of several other establishments in the Rivertown Warehouse District, Belle Isle, and several sites in New Center.
The tape opens in Chene Park with a shot of a park sign on a concrete pillar. Further shots show an "Expansion and Improvements" sign with an illustration of the planned renovations of the park, as well as footage of the construction of the concrete structure for the amphitheater.
Next the camera moves to the Rattlesnake Club, housed in part of the Stroh River Place complex. The camera captures shots of its exterior entrance, sign, interior entrance, bar, dining areas, and reservation counter, as well as several guests and employees.
Several shots of the exteriors of other establishments in the warehouse district follow-Andrews, Danny's Bar and Grill, and Dunleavy Z River Place.
The next section of the film depicts Belle Isle. This section begins with shots of the exterior and ground of the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory. The crew then enters the Belle Isle Aquarium for a series of shots of guests, and some of the fish (including the Red Devil Cichlid). Afterward, outside the camera gets several shots of the aquarium's exterior and sign.
Next, the camera gets several shots of people fishing on the northwestern side of Belle Isle. The camera pans around framing the anglers with the Ambassador Bridge, the downtown skyline, and the MacArthur Bridge in the background.
The camera then moves to the front of the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, where it pans about to show the Coast Guard boat, the MISS PEPSI pavilion, and the main building.
Next, a group of people are filmed as they play basketball on a court to the southwest of the island's athletic field. Several lengthy shots of of two men flying large kites on the adjacent field near the river. This segment ends with footage of two children attempting to get a kite out of a tree.
The final recordings on the tape depict signs for attractions in New Center. This section opens with a shot of the Attic Theatre sign. Next the camera shoots the sign outside of the Fisher Theatre, which advertises a production of Paul Robeson starring Avery Brooks, as well as an upcoming production of Oba! Oba! Next, the neon sign is shown for Pegasus in the Fisher in one of the Fisher Building's windows. The tape ends with a close-up of Avery Brooks on a poster for Paul Robeson in one of the building's windows.
