U-Matic S tape containing b-roll shot for the video "'E.T. Tourist' The Visit," produced by the City of Detroit's Department of Public Information for Media Day 1990. The tape contains footage shot at the intersections of Washington Bouelvard and Michigan Avenue, and then at Randolph Street and Jefferson Avenue. The footage prominently features the Days Inn Hotet, the Omni Hotel in the Millender Center, the Detroit People Mover, pedestrians, and the Renaissance Center.

Following about three minutes of blank space at the beginning of the tape, the recording begins with the camera positioned on the northeast corner of Michigan Avenue and Washington Boulevard, facing south toward the Days Inn. Here the camera captures the hotel's sign, the Chicago Road historical marker, traffic on Michigan Avenue, and the sign for the hotel's Arby's. The camera then moves toward the center of the the pedestrian mall on Washington Boulevard for a series of zooms out from the Days Inn sign to show the elevated red latticed sculpture above the mall.

Next, the camera moves to the north corner of East Jefferson Avenue and Randolph Street. Here in a long series of shots, the camera operator films the Omni International Hotel Detroit's sign and entrance at the Millender Center, the skywalks leading from the Millender Center, the People Mover as it arrives and leaves from the Millender Center Station, the Renaissance Center with one of the hotel's American flags flying in the foreground, a Detroit Department of Transporation bus with an AIDS-related public service message on its side, the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel's ventilation building, pedestrians passing the hotel, the Skywalk Shops directory signs and the the Millender Center entrance, pedestrians crossing Randolph, the bust of Christopher Columbus on Randolph's median, a Detroit Police Department officer directing traffic bound for the tunnel entrance, a Ford Auditorium sign on Jefferson's median adversiting the NBD Coffee Concert with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra under conductor Jerzy Senk on April 27th, the Roney and Company sign atop the Standard Savings Building, a Detroit Police Department Mounted Police Division officer, and the Riverfront Apartments in the distance. At one point a man off camera questions the camera operator who she works for and what she is doing.

The camera operator then moves into the median of Jefferson Avenue at Randolph Street, where she sits on the grass and continues to film. Here, she gets shots of flowers on the median, traffic, the People Mover passing overhead from the Millender Center station, the Skywalk, Renaissance Center signage, people waiting at a bus stop shelter outside of the Renaissance Center with one of the building's large terraced berms in the background, a zoom out from Ss. Peter & Paul Jesuit Catholic Church to a wider view of Jefferson Avenue, the Jefferson Avenue face of the Millender Center, and the Detroit Citizen's Railway trolley in front of Mariners' Church.

The recording is on a 3M UCA 30S U-Matic S tape with a handwritten 3M label on its top, marked "Tape 1 (Felicia) 4/25/90." The tape is housed within a black plastic latching case with a matching label marked "Tape 1 Felicia, 4/25/90 Downtown, Media/Day, Logged." A handwritten shotlist on City of Detroit stationery is included in the case:
